Arica Ohloff
Arica attributes her business success in medical device sales, direct sales and coaching to her open mindedness, passion for people, and the relationships she intentionally built.
Arica began her professional career In the male-dominated, medical device industry as an associate sales rep cultivating relationships and earning the respect of those she served. She promoted to senior sales rep in a year and a half and led a multi-million dollar territory. Arica found her uniqueness and brought it to the table. In her final year in the industry, she increased sales in her region by thirty-three percent and learned sales is not only about features and benefits but even more about building relationships and adding unique value to those she served.
A veritable force in selling, she started her career in direct sales. She didn’t choose it, it chose her. What began as a fun hobby rapidly morphed into a way of life. Her growth was meteoric. She broke an area record in her first month in business and promoted into the top 2% of the company within six months, was a top team recruiter and had back to back years of being the most improved team in her area. While her rapid success ignited a fire within her, it was developing people that most fueled her.
It was in pursuit of something she said she would never do that gave her the platform to grow and develop her passion for developing leaders. Along with her rapid rise through the leadership ranks came things that sat just outside of her comfort zone (mainly, public speaking).
Arica has overcome personal and professional adversity. She credits God, her business coach and mentors for her ability to overcome pain in life and in leadership and use it to become a first-rate version of herself and devoting her life to making an impact in others.
She is a sought-after coach, consultant and speaker. She and her husband, Kyle reside on an acreage in Solon, Iowa with their blended family of six. Outside of coaching and speaking, Arica enjoys spending time with her family, friends and funny farm animals. Her favorite activities include fitness, golf, hiking, reading, and all things sports related!
